RADON PROGRAM

Obtain a Short-term Radon Test Kit

January is National Radon Action Month. In recognition, the North Carolina Radon Program is providing free radon test kits to residents of North Carolina. The kits are made possible with funding by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

UPDATE: January 16, 2014 at 11:25 a.m.

Thank you for your interest in the NC Radon Program's free test kit event. Due to an overwhelming demand, we have given away all the test kits available from this website.

Read below about other ways of obtaining a free short-term test kit. You may purchase a test at the following link: https://securechek.com/cgi-bin/ncdenr_subsidy.cgi

Free test kits may still be available at the following North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service offices. Contact them directly to find out if they still have kits available. Supplies were limited.
